The Heart's Song

Sunday, May 15, 2016

How can I keep from singing?
Sing unto the Lord!
I have had singing.
I’m gonna sing when the spirit says sing!
When music sounds, gone is the earth I know…
Music touches the soul.

Vocal Alchemy celebrates the importance of music through works exploring the themes of music and singing. Welcoming guests Ante Meridiem and participants from Vocal Alchemy’s annual Men’s Workshop, Vocal Alchemy presents a program featuring music from Renaissance and Baroque composers, folk music, spirituals, and contemporary settings for choir a cappella and with piano accompaniment.
